The Details......

I am a girl who loves detail! It's the little things right? I am sorry all I have been talking about all week is the Party, but hey it was kinda of a big deal at the Hewitt house. But I promise after tomorrows post and pictures of our friends and family I will stop!
I love balloons, I knew I had to have them everywhere so I ordered 4 dozen and scattered them about!

The food was amazing my girl Mariah can cook like no other! Her husband is a pastery chef in Charleston, so she has learned from the best!

The Cake.... it was just perfect, not only did it look fabulous, it tasted pretty darn good too!

Suckers made by yours truly!

And really would a party be complete without a bucket full of this????

This party really was so much fun, I swear every year before the party starts I tell myself I will not go this BIg again, but then I have so much fun!! I look back at all the pictures and realize how great it all really was and my little brain starts spinning for next years big bash! Is there anything better than seeing your sweet baby with big smiles all day, and still talking about his Poo Poo Party :) all week. Nope didn't think so!!!

I couldn't wait for this post to see all the details...I'm a total details girl too and am really enjoying your blog since I found it last week! What a special day, you did an amazing job pulling it all together! And even your dining room color matched the theme!
Of course I have a question or two...sorry! I am planning my lil man's first birthday right now and you are giving me lots of great ideas...I wondered where you got the outfit and bib made for your lil guy's 1st birthday? I looked back and saw them and love that they are for a 1st birthday, and that the bib matched the outfit!

you are a great mommy to go to such great detail for a birthday party. my poor kids haven't ever had a real party and i'm starting to feel quite guilty about it! maybe i'll change my ways this year.
